Illinois Archery Deer Hunter Observation Survey

Illinois began administering the Archery Deer Hunter Survey (ADHS) in 1991 to provide the most reliable, and in some cases, the only information about trends in relative abundance of bobcat, coyote, red fox, and gray fox. It also provides a way to compare trends from ADHS to results of other methods used to monitor squirrel, white-tailed deer, and wild turkey.
